WORKING & ENCOURAGING WITHIN EDUCATION
Launching a new initiative in 2022 Bexhill Radio are keen to team up with local schools and encourage the youngsters to get involved with Bexhill Radio whether it be by creating and presenting a one off broadcast, creating publicity and social media posts or just actively promoting the work of the initiative.
We feel that this initiative would be attractive to heads of departments in music & media and encourage you to contact us in the first instance. Please email ‘info@bexhillradio.com’
This is a free enterprise with a zero physical presence. While our representatives all have an enhanced DBS we do not envisage a need for site visits but offer full email support via your school email system (we will not recognise private email addresses)
POSITIVE OUTCOMES OF THIS INITIATIVE FOR STUDENTS
HOW IT WORKS
For a period of 1 week your student will be involved in the production and/ or promotion of an event representing your school.
We will offer and suggest different ideas from a full 1 hour pre-recorded broadcast to the promotion and social media sharing of the broadcast. The same re-recorded show will be broadcast every day at a set time over a 5 day period (Monday – Friday) and included in the stations published schedule. After meeting your schools criteria and upon receiving written permission, we will happily include any images in our schedules supplied by your establishment. Again, we will only act upon emails from your schools email system and a mutual contact copied in.
Should you have a student who wants to be involved but has an issue with language, confidence etc then that’s fine. We will happily include them in the promotion and publicising of any broadcasts supplied by your establishment.
